Synopsis
The Manila Chamber Orchestra Foundation opens its 2026 Young Artists Series featuring countertenor Paul Ryan Arcolas on March 28, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Varlez Piano, LGI Bldg. Ortigas Ave. Greenhills, San Juan.  The series is made possible by Varlez Piano and DZFE.FM 98.7 The Master’s Touch.

One of the country’s fast-rising countertenors today, Paul Ryan Arcolas is the Second Prize winner of the 2023 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) and is currently an active member of the internationally acclaimed all-male choir ALERON. He is also a member of the working committee and serves as a vocal trainer at the Aleron Voice Studio.

As a performer, he has recently appeared as a soloist in Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with the Festival Chamber Orchestra under Franz Ramirez, and in Vivaldi’s Gloria under Dr. Joel Navarro, held at the Union Church of Manila. This year, he will perform in Ateneo de Manila University’s Dulaang Sibol repertory theatre company production of Stravinsky’s Oedipus Rex.
